Nathan Fell Architecture is a New Orleans–based design studio focused on residential architecture, including custom single-family homes, multi-family housing, and significant renovations. Founded in 2020 by Nathan Fell, the practice builds upon nearly three decades of architectural experience across residential, hospitality, and commercial design. This depth of experience informs the rigor, clarity, and spatial refinement of the studio’s residential work today.
Each project is approached as a deliberate response to place, its history, cultural context, and architectural lineage; while addressing the contemporary aspirations of its inhabitants. Whether designing new construction or reimagining existing structures, the studio emphasizes disciplined proportion, material integrity, and enduring architectural form.
Projects are led from initial concept through permitting and construction, ensuring continuity of vision while navigating the technical and regulatory complexities inherent to meaningful residential work. This comprehensive involvement allows the studio to maintain design integrity while coordinating the practical realities of construction.
Collaboration is integral to the process. The most compelling architecture emerges through engaged dialogue, where client insight, contextual awareness, and architectural conviction intersect. Rather than imposing a predetermined aesthetic, we seek to uncover the priorities that give each project clarity, character, and lasting value.
Our work reflects a respect for architectural history, technological advancement, sustainability, and the pursuit of beauty. The result is architecture that is not only functional, but enduring, rooted in context and designed to stand the test of time.
